Pleasant rooms and nice decoration. Breakfast well made and lovely staff

Popped in for a bite to eat. Food was very nice and the staff were friendly.

Mixed bag to say the least. Staff were very helpful but we weren't warned (and nothing on their Facebook page) that on the first night of their stay they were holding an enormous barbecue with samba band in the courtyard directly below our room, which made it uninhabitable. I brought earplugs expecting noise in a pub but this was unbearable. We'd hoped to eat there but wasn't clear if the barbecue was open to everyone. We had to fill out a form to pre-order breakfast but the kitchen still managed to run out of bread so no toast. The pub was closed on Sunday despite advertised opening hours, which meant we couldn't order breakfast for our second day. The gentleman there on Monday morning was great and cooked us breakfast anyway. Room largely clean but found hair in the kettle which was a bit disconcerting and there was no housekeeping (eg fresh cups) on day 2. Bottle of chilled water in fridge nice touch.

love this place, a nice place to stay. stayed here twice and not been disappointed at all. lovely modern rooms, nicely decorated. 👌

·

The most pitiful chicken Caesar salad ever. No tomatoes, anchovies or onions. Only lettuce, a few crutons and tiny piece of chicken. At £12 a plate, not good

Had my 60th birthday party at the Angel Hotel in the function room upstairs. Aldo and his team were 1st class. We had hot food served to the guests with plenty of choice. We also stayed the night Accommodation & breakfast was very good

Great hotel. Park behind and not in the high street. Lovely family rooms, just wish we'd had a bigger bed.Food excellent. Thank you

·

Accommodation and breakfast etc good value for money. Meal prices bit high but you only pay for good quality. The rooms were comfy and a great location. Parking at £5.80 for 24hrs good option,as limited street parking 2hrs. Angus a young chap was very helpful and is a credit to the hotel

Full of character, very well decorated which matches the character of the building, ample seating areas, plenty of outdoor seating some under cover.Very good range of beers, wines and spirits. Food menu is comprehensive and is available at various times of the morning, afternoon or evening. Most say exceptional well cooked. Price range is average for this establishment expected.Hotel rooms are very well decorated and has a pleasing feel to it. Must say the bed is amazing, so comfortable.Staff are very polite and professional.Only downside to the place is that it doesn't have any carpark and relies on street parking, which is quite limited and has limited parking time during the daytime. But is free.

Stayed overnight at the Angel after a very long drive. Nothing was too much trouble. We called ahead to say we would be late arriving and arrangements were made if we arrived after closing. A staff member was leaving as we arrived we were greeted and helped with checking in nothing was too much trouble at all! We headed to the room and I can honestly say it's one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in the price cannot be beaten. The bed was so so comfy and clean, the room had all the facilities on hand to use! The next morning we headed down to bfast and greeted by another lovely gentleman and served up an exceptional breakfast. Very very happy with our stay! Top notch the Angel 👍
