Very disappointed in our Sunday lunch , used to be the best lunch in the area not anymoreVery Over cooked veg no lovely fresh cauliflower cheese or red cabbage, everything rehated paxo stuffing ball !!! Real shame

Delicious roast dinner with a homely feel.Relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly and tasty food. The dessert menu at Easter was fantastic! So nice to see such a selection of homemade treats.

What a shame, this used to be a wonderfully ran pub, with a beautiful menu.Now it has sausage and mash, a burger and a few other DIY meals.Carvery tasted like most of it was frozen food.Atmosphere wasn't anywhere near like it used to be. And it seems the lady who runs it, sits at the bar or is outside smoking.

NEVER DISAPPOINTS!Another lovely meal at the Old bear, such friendly staff and food amazing as always. The food was all cooked fresh and came out within 15 minutes! White chocolate cheesecake is a must have!😍

5 star ! Had the best Mother’s Day meal couldn’t fault the food and the staff were attentiveI looked at the new menu whilst there and it seems upmarket so I will come back to try it outOur table of 5 all thought it was good value for money what impressed us more than anything was in the ladies loo the sanitary items to help end period poverty! Hospitality was above and beyond! Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Food was amazing tired new things i never have. The sticky toffee pudding took me back to my childhood. Prices are really good. 10/10

Just had an awful roast here. We waited a short time for it to be served to us, when it arrived it appeared to have just come out of the microwave. I had under cooked pigs in blankets, my partners were raw.The pork I had was awful. My partners lamb was chewy beyond belief.What was meant to be a birthday treat for my partners mother was ruined. Even the roast potato's where soggy. Nothing about it was good. They gave us the cost of one meal off but to be honest it was not enough compensation. I think it was pretty much the worst roast I have ever had. Very disappointing.
