Canal side Inn. Very good food. Nice campsite with showers, washing up facilitues and even washing machines and dryers. Lenny and Skylar put in a lot of effort to keep everyone happy campers. Electric available.

Friendly and helpful staff, good level camping with ehu tents and camper vans in a large field. Facilities much improved since our last visit. Food is good and reasonably priced. The canal is very pretty and there are lots of good walks. Dog friendly but still many careless owners not picking up after their dogs to the detriment of the environment particularly for the local residents.

Been coming here on and off since I was 18, way back in 1997 when we used to camp out on nearby Knapp Hill. Glad to say it's lost none of its charm. The pub has seen few alterations over the years, but for the better and the campsite is now more purpose made than it once was,, again for the better. I've read reviews from some saying it was like arriving at a commune, well they obviously missed the point and the general spirituality of the place and are probably best sticking to their caravan and camping club sites. This has buckets more charm and personality but haters will never understand that. The pub food is still as generously portioned and tasty as it was in the 90s and the staff are friendly and helpful.

What a place! Lovely pub, lovely plots, lovely people. The site was clean and the hosts were super friendly. There is a play area for kids and dogs welcome but must be kept on leads. The on-site pub has premium lagers, wines and spirits and the food was home cooked and really tasty - I had the Whitebait and the Chilli Con Carne, and my boyfriend had the beef burger which looked delicious!

Stumbled upon this place quite by accident. Can't see it from the road bit it is worth negotiating the speed bumps along the lane. It was a boiling hot summer's day when we visited and we found a nice table in the shade of a tree. Gorgeous spot by the canal. Nice pint of IPA and a good meal for a reasonable price. All good.

Although in a very pretty setting not really what I would term a family site mainly due to some of the live music and language not suitable for children and not finish before 12 0r 1am the late night revelry continuing going into the very early hours 3-4am of the following morning despite notices reminding campers to keep noise down after 11.00 not conducive to a restful or tranquil break. Broken glass and bottles littered around children's play area was not safe. Not enough toilets available for campers and visitors to site who attend the live entertainment. Outside toilets had no light in at night so made washing hands or cleaning teeth difficult. Site is not suitable for those with physical disability or in wheelchair no paths through camping site, also be aware ground gets very wet, muddy and boggy when very wet. However for those who enjoy festivals snd all that goes with it its right up your street, food is good and value for money. Staff are friendly and pleasant walks along the canal.

The Barge Inn at honeystreet is always an interesting place to visit and it's a great destination pub. The latest owner has invested considerably in the new barn area so it is ideal for entertainment and events, includes 3 b&b rooms in the barn too.The pub and beer garden were packed, as usual on a sunny day. Had lovely food there and the campsite round the back was very busy too. Toilets and showers are accessible even during covid19. Camping is a relaxed affair, campfires and and music, don't expect caravan club standards, but do expect a happy party atmosphere and safe environment. The pub is on the Kennet and Avon canal and draws many beautiful and colourful characters including boaters, nomads, walkers, cyclists, bikers and holiday makers and crop circle hunters. It's a special and spiritual place for many people and for those who can't find the place...... you are probably not meant to be there!
