The Bath Arms in Wiltshire

We have booked here for a birthday lunch as Talbot Inn was fully booked. We never been here so we didn’t knew what to expect. But everything was so good. Really nice Sunday roast. Staff very friendly. Beautiful desserts. White chocolate mousse with rhubarb sorbet was over expectations. I am really glad that places like this one has a really good wine selection. Terrace and surrounding area magical. Thank you all for a wonderful experience! Will be coming back.

I had my first ever Sunday Roast here !Now other Restaurants and Pubs have to keep same standards. It was delicious.Also desert ( my bday cake ) really surprised me.10/10Also very friendly Service !We willBe back !

Another fabulous lunch. The group that owns these pubs, does a fabulous job. Great quality and service. Good local ales.

Great pub and much improved since we last went. It’s under different ownership now and you can tell. Staff are all lovely, food is great and they have a good selection of beer - even decent alcohol free beer.

Fantastic looking place loads of old world charm. I met up with a friend never having been there before it is out of the way but signed up, so easy to find.We met up for lunch unfortunately our experience wasn't great. My first beer order was not available although the local beer was good. My friend wanted a bottle of sparkling water only available in large bottles and the offer of soda water on tap really wasn't acceptable so he had tap water.Our request for a bar menu was forthcoming but we were then informed there was no sandwich offering at all, "only what was on the menu" was the phrase used.It was unfortunate as my friend wanted this so he sat with a glass of tap water and if it hadn't been for the hour and the distance I think we would have drunk up and left.Maybe this was an unfortunate series of events sure the Bath Arms is a fabulous looking place and maybe all that visit don't drink sparkling water or eat sandwiches but for those that do then it isn't the place to go which is a shame. Hopefully that may change if so we'll give it another go.

This was our first time and we will go back for sure! Very well thought through menu, perfect candle light heritage ambiance, excellent food and impeccable service.

Food mediocre, definitely over priced and over rated. Surprised fish and chips never came in a newspaper. Teaspoon of mushy peas. Waitress very quick with answers and we were told to hurry up after coffee as they needed our table. Won't be back.!!

I was gifted a wonderful 2 nights at the Bath Arms. Kayla, Connor, Floyd and Brianna (to mention just a few) were wonderfully attentive and made sure that I had everything I needed. My room(s) were luxurious - the bathroom nearly as big as the bedroom and I indulged myself with the bath with a view over the lovely Wiltshire countryside and Bramley products available.Breakfast and dinner are also worth a mention - absolutely delicious!Treat yourself to a family weekend away or indulgent get away from it all like me! Highly recommended.

This is a gem hidden away we popped into on our way back to London and was highly recommended.The food was excellent as was the service. Having eaten at £100 per head restaurants this easily won hands down.The lamb sausages and mash were soooo...tasty.There was not a single complaint from our party of 6 about the food or service. Definitely will be going back again.Just shows good food doesn't need to be overpriced and I salute the owners, chef and staff...well done you made our day !

Terrible customer service. Waited 45 minutes for our table, only to be told when we were seated that they had ran out of roast dinners. They care more about chatting to the locals than serve paying customers.
