Only stopped for a quick drink here but the pub was very pleasent and staff were polite. Those who drunk the beer said it was cloudy and didn't taste quite right.

Cracking beer!! Great atmosphere, very cosy and friendly staff! Lovely beer garden at the back & cafe during the day. Good place to get coffee in the morning - cafe opens 8am.

Really high quality and delicious pub food in a beautiful, cozy pub with open fire places.

Lovely old pub with pretty views of gorgeous village. Particularly good food for me, as Chef and Team happily and knowledgeably catered for my needs as coeliac (with other allergies). Looking forward to visiting again.

The atmosphere at The Bell has changed dramatically since the pandemic. It feels like a restaurant with a bar, not a proper English pub. I think management has changed and it shows. All the employees are very kind and seem like they are working very hard to save this pub. I have faith we’ll see The Bell return to its former glory. Fingers crossed.

A very good place to stay over en route to somewhere else or to stay the night if you are planning a walking/cycling trip nearby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the menu selections are excellent. Regarding breakfast they only serve porridge by way of cereals and the full English or variations on it (including vegan I think). There is a bar area but no hotel lounge as such. Again this fits with the overnight Inn theme for those heading out on excursions or continuing their journies elsewhere. For the full hotel experience you would look elsewhere.
