Good location, good food, good beer, lovely staff and good service. And very good value. Party of four all agreed one if the best Sunday roasts in a long time..

Lovely little pub in the middle of the country side. Dog friendly and has lovely food for them as well.

First time for Sunday lunch. Pleasant staff and lovely old building. Limited to mainly Sunday lunch menu. Good variety of vegetables but found Yorkshire pudding a bit tough. I couldn't taste the garlic on the chicken. Although staff were nice service was slow and tables were only half cleared aft a time. We only had 2 courses and coffee and were in there for at least 3.5 hours.

We booked for Sunday lunch after having a walk by the river. The staff were welcome, the place is comfy and cosy, and food was very good too. Would happily return when we're back this way.

Easy to get to from the A303. Plenty of parking. Drinks sensible price; well kept local beers and the rhubarb cider went down very well.Butchers pie was truly delicious, packed full of beef and venison in a rich gravy. Best pub pie I've had in years.Desert platter - yum, yum, yum: crème brulé and orange chocolate torte served with two balls of ice-cream of your choice from their menu. The fig and honey ice-cream was amazing, the torte was rich and really chocolatey, the crème brulé light with a great crispy sugar crust.

Perfect place to stop for lunch just off the A303. Great little pub but setup for food and coffee too. I can find nothing to say other than I will come back again.

Such a warm welcome in this traditional village pub/restaurant. Great service and delicious food. Extensive menu to suit all tastes. Will definitely return to sample a Sunday lunch. Excellent well done to the owners and their staff. An excellent evening out.

Great pub and open all day apart from Tuesday. Nice big log fire, good beer and pleasant staff. Dog friendly and quiet when I go there late afternoon. Old fashioned but comfortable. One of the best.

Darcy who runs it is a wonderful person and her team. Great menu that starts at a good price. As soon as you walk in the door you feel at home. Open fire crackles during the winter. Worth every moment of spending there. Lovely food, great detail to presentation. Great selection of drinks. A great place to drop off and eat, rest and enjoy.

Beautiful old village pub serving a huge variety of excellent food, I have never seen such a varied menu. All the staff went above and beyond in their care and attention to us, even bring a bowl of water for our dog. Very rare to find somewhere without fault but The Bell if faultless. Just wish we lived closer!
