Always good here. Generally I go here for a takeaway. Service great. Usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes to be cooked. Good portion sizes and they are willing to adapt meals to dust you.

5 Stars aren't enough to describe the experience my wife and I had at this lovely gem of a restaurant. The menu is extensive, the food is excellent and the portions are generous. The service was beyond next level. The Bengal Bear is more than worth the travel from Bath and environs. We came all the way from New York and we'd do it again!

We went as a group of four - collected drinks at the Shell (10 mins up the road). Had a nice evening - wide selection of curries and sides, meals were tasty. Nothing to complain about and good value too

Great offer on Mondays and Wednesdays. The mango chicken on puri starter is amazing. The butter chicken was more like a Korma though, a bit too coconuty for me.

Bear of Bengal is outstanding! Food was amazing and the service and friendliness of all the staff was brilliant. Highly recommend. My wife and I will most definitely be returning for sure.

Stayed over in Bath for a couple of days and this restaurant was recommended by a friend for authentic Indian food. Fantastic little spot which was a short drive from Bath city centre. Very quick service considering the restaurant was very busy whilst still serving flavoursome piping hot food. Well worth the visit, will come back again defo. The servers and owner of the restaurant were very pleasant, had a chat with them and they recommended a few places to visit before leaving Bath. They have a small car park right next to the restaurant.

One of the best Indian meals we've ever had. Friendly and helpful staff.

Food was utterly delicious. Everything that we tasted was really good. Friendly staff. Apparently the restaurant doesn't hold a alcohol licence but you can bring your own. Ideally you will need to book a table, according to staff. The only but was the bill, it did not specify what you were charge for. (I know we had the menus when we order but we didn't check the prices). Still very reasonable price. Would still comeback
