Went there for Sunday lunch with my daughter and sister. The things I do!!! The service was superb. With our roast beef medium rare and juicy. All 3 of us had different deserts all raved about their own. Nice split between eating in the bar or in other rooms. We will return.

We had a range of food (including for children) and it was all great. Staff were friendly and it's set in a lovely location, with a nice clean outdoor area with seating.

Staff was friendly and service was good. The food however was really poor.I ordered a burger which I couldn't eat because it wasn't a proper beef burger and I'm not sure exactly what it was.I then switched with my partner who ordered a pie and it wasn't nice either, swimming in tasteless gravy and very dry mash potatoes.Shame because the atmosphere is quite nice too.

A really lovely pub and B&B, IN A lovely village setting. The meals are great, the staff really helpful. Chatty too. The rooms are comfortable and clean, nothing is too much trouble shower in our ground floor room was rather high off floor but with a step easy to use. Patio door into a small patio and table and chairs nice warm towels, and toiletries to use. Meals are great both breakfast and evening meals. The drinks and meals are added to your room payment. Would stay again if needed

Good country pub which provides rooms, food and function room and large garden. Only there for a private function so did not sample menu. Beer was of good quality though.

We came here after a difficult few years due to COVID and few external factors as a much overdue date night. We couldn't have been happier with the everything from the staff to how the food came out. I cannot fault anyone tonight and we have walked away extremely happy and looking forward to out next visit for mother's Day in a few weeks. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you want to pay for a standard meal go to a chain pub, if you want something special, come here.

Very nice pub in a lovely area. Locals friendly gave us directions to the white hours on the hill. Food generally very nice however had a hair on one sweet which would have been ok mistakes happen but was not handled very well. Apart from that a very nice place.

Excellent Pub, booked with Chris on the telephone, for a table of four for Sunday lunch. Gluten free option for one diner, we arrived and were greeted and instructed on where to find our table. Within moments, another staff member showed us to our table, took our coats, and asked for our drinks choices. The service was excellent, food was too. I noted water was available on the table, and replenished throughout our meal. Napkins were cloth, not paper as in some establishments. These are both a good sign of a high quality venue, and we will definitely return as often as possible, looking forward to summer!

Delicious. Great service - just the right level of friendliness. Fantastic food. Lovely understated decor. Not inexpensive but clearly worth the money - all locally sourced food and expertly prepared. Recommended for a really nice meal out.

A really nice cosy pub with great food and comfortable rooms. We came here for a birthday meal and wasn't disappointed by the food, really great tasting dishes and we'll presented. The service was friendly and efficient, a good selection of drinks on tap, but no cocktail menu. Reasonable prices on the drinks. The atmosphere was pleasant, a bit on the quiet side, didn't seem much of a buzz but that might have been where we'd sat. We also stayed over, the rooms were clean and comfortable with the usual complimentary tea/coffee etc. Bed was on the firm side, but I didn't mind that. Overall a really lovely place to eat, drink and stay, I'd say it was on par with the price we paid,
