Went to Ramsbury brewery for first food market, not a bad start. Met son Andy and Karen went to Blue Boar in Aldbourne first time since 60s, (pre Babs)nice selection of beers, good food(whitebait favourite of mine) paid a bit extra for a main course, lovely. Good atmosphere will go again.

Always delightful to visit, whether it is for a meal in the restaurant or the bar area, or just for a drink. Lovely to sit outside in good weather. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Not able to eat here as a large party were expected. A disappointing range of gin. However friendly service from table service waiter and was clean and well presented.

Been so excited to finally visit this pub. Gorgeous location. Great food. However let down by the landlady.Poor skills. We arrived. Empty garden seating. Picked a table and sat down. The landlady came out and bluntly said. "Cant sit there, only for pre bookings"I explained I had booked. Her reply " ok then"RudeWhat should have happened." hello, welcome to our pub, have you booked a table ?"......Shame !

A famous pub in a famous quaint village, where back in 1973, a Dr. Who episode was filmed. The pub was run by very welcoming staff and meal I had was delicious, a baguette filled with tender beef and with gravy over it, alongside with some crispy chips and a bit of salad, all washed down with a nice pint of Corvus, a malty Guinness type drink.
