Moored up and hungry we went to a pub down the road only to find they'd stopped serving for the evening π« (They were lovely and as helpful as they could be)A local man saw our need and jumped to our rescue calling up the Brewery Inn who themselves were about to close up early but stayed open for us!The ladies were amazing and so welcoming. Lovely warm pub with the fire going. The food was incredible and they were really helpful with fussy eaters and food intolerances (gluten free and diary free).Thank you! π

After a lovely Sunday walk came across this pub on way back to canal.Very busy friendly local pub. A real buzz about it. Big garden too.Lovely welcoming warm staff (two ladies) who couldn't of been more accommodating when no tables free by the bar, so found us seating in the pool room. As soon as a table came free in the bar we were swiftly advised and moved. We didn't eat, but the food looked good and tasty. Would highly recommend. Dog friendly too.

Fantastic staff, we ate down the road first then here for a drink after. We were gutted after seeing the food served after what we had at the barge inn down the road

Nice table service but food was cold, 3 roast potatoes that were missing a few bastings but hey I wasn't paying my mate was. His opinion was the food is usually top notch and wasn't sure what had gone wrong as we all had the same experience so wasn't just my meal.

Dogs are welcomed inside with open arms, the staff were amazing with us and the pooch and They went out of their way to seat us with all of our family we were visiting. Would definitely go back and recommend.

We decided to choose this pub as a new alternative. The service was great, it's small but lovely inside, with a real log fire. The good was good and priced well. Pool table downstairs if you fancied it. We'll be back.

Lovely family pub. The owner spent time talking and made us feel very welcome. There was a pop up kitchen in the car park Tandoori G, which sold Indian cuisine, very tasty and freshly made.
