Me and my partner came here just to have a nice afternoon lunch but unfortunately we didn't even get to order anything, I refused to order anything from this place where it was just so messy, dirty & sticky!! Everything you touched was STICKY!!!!!When we first walked in it took ages for us to decide on where to sit because most of all the tables were dirty and hadn't been cleared yet, so we went outside to look and it was the same. So we just ended up going back inside and picking a table and I had to move all the dirty plates and wipe down the table and chairs down myself with an anti bacteria wipe! Then we finall sat down and my partner went to grap the paper menus and no joke they were stuck to the table so bad one ripped! That was it then me and my partner just had enough and thought stuff this and walked out!!! We both just felt dirty being there. If this is what the dinning area looks and feels like then I'd hate to think what my food is being cooked in!! So I'm sorry but I would never return to this place again which is such a shame because it's in such a lovely location.

Another great Wetherspoon pub with all the favourite bargain drink and food. Lovely setting right on the riverside . Pay for parking but it is right next to the pub. Lovely decor with viewing balconies and friendly service too.

Lovely pub. Ordered a grilled chicken burger though, been cooked so long it could have been used as a brick, door stop, paper weight, family heirloom, ballast, anchor, tyre chock or dumbbell. And the two members of staff had all the charm of a rotten teddy bear at a graveside.

Burger, Chips, and a pint for a fiver give or take. It's clean it's hot and it's relatively fast. You know what you get when it comes to Wetherspoons.

Typical good value meals and drinks, how do they do it? Nice refurbishment. Exmoor beast.

Staff were excellent, food was decent and reasonably priced. The location however is the cherry on top. Sat upstairs over looking the river 👍

Ordered by app from my table, very quick service. The food was ok, but the tuna mayo had very little in the way of mayo, so was very dry.The visit to Bridge House was spoiled for my wife by the appalling state of the ladies toilets. No toilet paper in any cubicle, filthy toilets and one basinblocked and full of water. Clearly nomonitoring happening here.

Popped here for an evenings shenanigans with friends for the first time since before covid. Very noisy and boisterous with all the young people, so if you want a quiet meal or a conversation not shouted, maybe try upstairs! Unfortunately whilst we were here, upstairs was full and we forgot to check if any tables had become free during our night! Food is always good here, simple but hearty. The staff were brilliant, always cleaning tables once customers had left, and clearing empty glasses or crockery, and drinks were always promptly served. The only issue we ever have here is the lack of toilet roll!!! But we'll return again because it's simple and easy, especially the I ordering!
