First time we went for dinner since new owners took over. We were not disappointed. They are finally taking this lovely pub to where it should be. The food was delicious; I had homemade scampi - drool and my partner had the Butchers pie.. both of us were over the moon with our dinner. Nice Malbec, and my partner loved the best on tap! There is also a lovely beer garden for the warmers days.. can't wait to go back, we are telling all our friends !! A must visits

I gave this two stars because I've been there and liked the place but recently it's been closed in the day even tough it said open online which it was not a wasted journey

Absolutely wonderful little gem, worth making the drive for. They were welcoming and accommodating with food at a late hour. The food quality was excellent and the hospitality fantastic. A must visit in the area.

Great village pub. Didn't try food but great range of real ale and ciders. V sociable landlord and decent pub garden. Menu looks very tempting. Will try next time. Recommended.

We had a very pleasant & enjoyable Sunday lunch at the Carriers a couple of days ago. Stockton is a lovely quiet village set in beautiful countryside. The pub is quite simple in a pleasant way, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The roast lunch was excellent with good sized portions and very reasonable value for money. There was a good selection of beers and lagers, and the pub was well frequented by locals, so had a good atmosphere, but was not overly crowded or noisy. For Sunday lunch there is a choice of three roasts. During the week there is a good pub grub menu.
