Fabulous location right opposite the Cathedral. Lovely inside the rooms, extremely comfortable with quality fittings. Best bath and view from the bath the best. Food in the pub was excellent and the staff from reception to bar to restaurant were friendly and attentive. Just go stay there!

I stopped by for lunch after I read about the location. It was well worth it - service was fast, staff was professional and friendly, liked the food a lot. The location should make it easy to reach - it is 3 minutes away from the Cathedral.

I've just spent a weekend staying here. As the building is old it's very quirky with uneven floors and lovely beams in the corners of our room. The room was clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good with a nice choice. We left our car in a carpark around the corner and were able to get a pass from the hotel for 24 hours at a time. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent food and excellent service. The steaks that we ordered was cooked to perfection. It very much reminded us of our favourite place to eat in Guildford namely The Percy Arms. So now we have 2 favourite places to eat!

Met up with some old work mates for a catch up and Saturday lunch, such a lovely atmosphere, warm welcoming staff and a meal to die for. Would definitely recommend. Planning on trying their Sunday lunch next time.

Little hidden gem in Salisbury slightly more upmarket affair but didn't mind us turning up looking for hungover munchies. Staff were awesome and delt with our indecision the food was epic the dry aged steaks were a few days off being ready but I plan to return and try them out looking forward to going back

We went specifically for the South African dishes in the menu. We had the boerewors starter with polenta and the sharer platter, both were delicious. The bobotie for main was also tasty, just missed the Mrs Balls chutney which was replaced by mango chutney. We could have topped it all with a Savanah or something not currently on the menu but maybe something to put forward as a suggestion. The atmosphere was nice, old building with lots of charm and the service was friendly.

I'm driving around the UK and I'm trying. This is one of the best places for a casual pocket, and great service. Food I highly recommend, steaks and ribs excellent. Lots of types of wine. I recommend

Went there at lunchtime. Very busy. Had a very nice rump steak with chips a side of mushrooms and the blue cheese sauce. Absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff. Loved it.

We booked in here when walking back to Salisbury Cathedral after a quick look around the shops. It looked enticing from the outside and when going inside, it was very charming and welcoming! The menu is great and has a good selection. The service was quick and came with a smile and warmth! The food was perfect, everything was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended the Camembert Sharer for a starter! Although there was a South African meat platter that looked unbelievable! I almost want to go back there to try it! Very pleased with our food, decent, reasonable prices, great service, friendly team.. 10 out of 10!
