Food delicious, service not so good, in fact you can hear Manager berating staff, disappointing to hear.

We had dinner at the Cross Keys last night, absolutely delicious. The beef was so succulent and the chocolate brownie was one of the best I've ever tasted! If I could leave six stars I would...β¨

Very helpful staff managed to squeeze us in on a really busy Sunday. Food was lovely. My only gripe was that it was fairly expensive for the amount of food you got. But as a pub lunch it was really good.

What a lovely place with welcoming friendly staff. Just had the most amazing chicken and leek pie with mash and veg. In fact the best chicken pie of any variety I have ever had, I have had a number of pies in my lifetime and consider myself an expert lol. well done chef and team 10 out of 10 from me. We will eat with you again for sure.

We couldn't find anywhere that had room for the 4 of us to eat but spotted the road signs for the cross keys so decided to try it. It was a good call. We were willing to sit outside because we had the dog with us but they went out of their way to sit us inside as soon as there was space, with the dog. The food was lovely, lovely big portions and well presented. Very tasty too. The service was excellent and the staff really friendly. I don't usually post, but they definitely deserve it

We turned up without a booking after a long journey with 3 hungry kids. The staff we so understanding and really accommodating, eve though they couldn't manage a full meal due to a busy kitchen they made sure my children had something.A perfect example of great customer service and a lovely village pub, this is why we should be supporting small local pubs. Outstanding service and food that deserves out support.Thank you all, my son says "they were the best chips ever! Can we come again?" We will be sure to book next time x

Lovely little pub, serving great food and the Guiness on tap is one of the best I've tasted.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here, booked ahead easily on the website. I had steak, with sweet potato fries, which was cooked medium rare as requested and was actually medium rare, which is not always the case! The vine tomatoes were delicious! My husband had the fish and chips, which he enjoyed and was a large dish. A nice touch that it came with curry sauce but in a sealed pot so if you hate the smell (like me) it won't ruin it for you! The waitress was friendly, I think new? There seemed to be some locals in and a couple.of friendly dogs π The only thing was that there was a leak in the ladies toilets so a puddle on the floor, but assume that will get fixed pretty quickly. Would recommend and visit again.

Found this little gem, so visited for lunch. Such a friendly atmosphere. Family run pub. Lovely garden too. The food was absolutely delicious. Lots of choice on the menu at very reasonable prices. We had the sticky beef which had been recommended followed by the lemon posset. Yummy. Will definately be returning.
