The Crown Hotel in Wiltshire

The Crown fantastic little pub set in a beautiful British country Village lovely outdoor seating right opposite the Duck Pond stopped there on a very hot summer's day with a group of friends on dirt bikes for a very very cold refreshing beer if you like traditional English things this is definitely one of those hope you enjoy as much as I did cheers Vince👍👍

Stayed a night for a local Doctor Who convention, room was nice and had very good complementary items provided.Food was absolutely lovely and staff were very friendly. There was also a very cute dog wandering around. Would definitely recommend and would go again if I got the chance.

We stayed for two nights, taking our two dogs who loved the Crown as much as we did! Twin room at the back was perfect with everything we needed. Breakfasts fantastic, good choice of drinks and a good evening menu. The staff couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. Beautiful village with good walks. A perfect break and we'll definitely go back.

Stayed here in May. On arrival told they did not have our booking and we’re fully booked with a wedding party. Said this had happened several times as they think booking.com has created a second Crown Inn on their database ! So if you make a booking, suggest you ring ahead to make sure your booking has actually been registered.Eventually found a room for us. Friendly staff and lovely food. Rustic room but had all you need. Aldbourne is a pretty village. Handy Co-op store and delightful deli/cafe there too.

Stopped here a few times after walking the area and what an exceptional pub. Lovely location fantastic food and beer and lovely staff. A real gem ❤️

My wife and I love to have Sunday lunch here, sure there are gastropubs that offer higher quality options but for us, the Crown really offers great pub food in a lovely little village - and we're foodies. Had the roast pork again this weekend, it was lovely and the staff super helpful, great food for the price.

Stopped here on the off chance for Sunday lunch. Wow possibly the best Sunday lunch I've had. A huge plate of deliciousness! Beautifully cooked and the biggest Yorkshire pudding I've seen. The staff were all extremely friendly too Will definitely go again and have already recommended to my son and his wife they must visit . Absolutely awesome!

Staff are lovely, attentive without being overly crowding & food was amazing, you would expect a small salad to be .... a small salad, but the chef has used various herbs & subtle spices to add an extra "twist" to it that really adds incredible depths of flavour to the salad & he's done the same with the burger too. Fantastic. AAA+

Despite Booking.com failing to advise The Crown of our booking, the owners went out of their way to accommodate us even though they were already fully booked. Comfortable room with lovely views. Beautiful old building in a stunning location. Food was lovely too, I especially enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the blue mountain coffee! Thank you 😊

A real good experience after a good walk. Good selection of drink and a good food menu of which the meals were excellent. Many thanks.
