Great welcome and hospitality, lovely Pizzas, but don't bother with the desserts. We are lucky to have reasonably priced places to go for a fun evening locally in our rural community.

Absolute gem of a pub. Great friendly staff. Superb food, reasonably priced. Dog friendly with an excellent beer garden.

Wow wow wow! What a fantastic hotel and pub.We had a over night stay this weekend as we went to a friends wedding. From the minute we walked in the staff were lovely. We arrived early but the room was ready and clean and just perfect for the two of us.We had some trouble finding a taxi and Rhys the assistant manager actually took us along and was very chatty. The bed was comfortable and cozy and it really felt like home from home.Breakfast has amazing choices and our needs we catered for accordingly.Could not recommend anymore!Thank you so much to the team, hopefully we will see you again!Corra and Lewis xx

Lovely, cozy country pub. Very safe - sanitiser on every table with the salt and pepper! Great food and beer - they even have a green ale! - dog friendly and log fires. What more could you ask for?! Highly recommend!

We stopped the night here and ate here on the evening too. Our room was as expected and the pub downstairs was spot on. Food was great and the staff were really good too!

Warm welcome. Very dog friendly. Really laid back but great service. We had their trademark beef and ale pie, whilst a little on the expensive side, it was huge and the best pie I’ve had in a pub. The new menu is small but very interesting. We went late afternoon on a Friday just before dinner service and it was really busy with a lively buzz, which is always a good sign. Very tasteful interior design. Definitely worth a visit or two or three. Very well managed.

We were in Amesbury for the day and decided to find somewhere nice to eat, and boy did we find somewhere nice! Attentive but non invasive staff who were all incredibly polite and professional. Considering it was pretty busy, food came out at a good pace, all homemade, locally sourced and most importantly, very tasty! We had to take some of ours home but it just allowed us to continue eating it later. The atmosphere was very warm and cosy, I wouldn't hesitate to return. In fact, we are in Amesbury again this weekend, so might have to stop in again, even if it's just for their amazing scotch egg.If you are in the area, I urge you to stop in. You won't regret it.

Really warm welcome here by very friendly staff. Made to feel comfortable and we could see that others in the pub were at ease, ranging from families with young children, couples, and small groups. Dog friendly place with a super ambience and good looking menu - we did not eat today, but hope to return to enjoy the full experience- this is a lovely find in the middle of the countryside...

Quality beers (but limited choice) and amazing pizza and other food in a great environment. Service was very good over lunch when we ate here. I recommend the pizzas closely followed by the pies, washed down with a beer! 🍕 🥧 🍺

Dropped in on the way home from seeing the stones. Total hail Mary and a nice surprise. The food service and venue were everything you could wish for from a country pup. The pies were as good as any I've ever had.
