Stopped off whilst out for a bimble. Lovely welcome, staff very friendly, great food and service. Will definitely go back, especially over the summer and would recommend to family and friends.

Great food, great service and fantastic ambience. OK we only stopped for lunch on our way down to the coast but we found a gem of a place that all the locals seem to know about but is off the tourist radar. If you appreciate friendly, attentive, warm and yet professional service with every aspect from the welcome to the delivery of fine (well priced) wine and fabulously presented food delivered with panache, enjoyed with other like minded folk, to the eventual final stop, a scrupulously clean environment, then take the time and stop a while. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent Sunday lunch...good size portions, very good service. Always meet friends here annually as halfway between Swindon and Poole. Only negative was they got booking date wrong!

Went for Sunday lunch. Good service and massive portions. Definitely good value for money. My burger was a little dry but very tasty. My son's roast was spot on, he loved it and the ice cream that was included on the kids menu. My wife had the same as our son, roast chicken, and said her food was excellent with enough veg for everyone. We shared the sticky toffee pudding which was excellent. Service was timely and with a smile, can't fault it. Would recommend to anyone!

Our very first visit after 14 years of just driving by. Had a wonderful meal. Great service, great food. A lovely atmosphere and we were made very welcome. We will be back as want to try the curry of the day as long as it's not too hot.

Wonderful location. Very welcoming staff who couldn't of done more for us. My better half had Steak and Ale pie which came with chips, wonderful gravy and a great selection of veggies. I myself had Fish and Chips with peas and tartare sauce. Both meals were huge and delicious. We shall be back without a doubt and are determined to sample the desserts. Many thanks.Update 05/03/2019Went for Sunday lunch and once again the food was faultless.Tasty, plentiful and hot. Every one of our 4 person party was satisfied and very full. Thank you once more for a lovely meal.
