Good GF menus, nice I eternal space and large beer garden with lots of seating

·

Prawns in the prawn cocktail were rather tiny and no real flavour to them but filet steak main course was perfectly cooked and tender , raspberry and white chocolate brioche with home made custard was exceptional.

·

Really great service and lovely food, the staff were accommodating to dietary requirements and made us feel very welcome. Thank you

It was so refreshing to have attentive staff who went off menu to serve our daughter dinner. Very welcoming and friendly. The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better. We destroyed dinners and moved onto desserts. Oh wow, again, every dish was to die for. All in all, I’m delighted with our visit and recommend dining there as soon as you are able

Had to do a trip to Gloucester and decided to find a nice place for lunch on the return to Box.How sad to see the effects covid has had with many of the places we called by either closed or on reduced days and hours. Finally went to Chippenham as nearly home. Remembered the Gladstone and was not disappointed. Shared a fabulous steak, perfectly cooked with loverly service. Most tables were taken and stayed busy all the time we were there. Not much parking nearby but a large town car park a couple of hundred metres away. Very worth a visit but would suggest booking

Great food, you may not get everything you like on your plate but you can always ask to have different items. Not cheap but the quality backs up the price.

Had lovely meal there last night, Leighton and all his staff worked tirelessly as always. Food and service brilliant. Highly recommend.

·

Very friendly staff but found the food a little disappointing. Had the fish and chips - tasted like it had all come out of the freezer, the chips were poor quality and the fish had absolutely no taste whatsoever. My wife had the fillet steak and she found that very good so I guess I may have ordered the wrong thing !

Great food, drinks and service, great night out

One of the only places in town to grab a beer and tuck into some great food in town at the moment while covid is in full effect.Spent 4 hours in their garden under cover with a variety of heaters, it creates quite the atmosphere.Friendly staff and great drinks selection combined with a top food menu make this and easy recomendation.
