We booked a afternoon cream tea , the bar area was lovely, and Heather was ever so friendly and helpful.credit to the chef the sandwiches scones and cakes were very good served with generous amounts of cream and jam . Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely pub. We were a table of 8 plus a pooch, all the staff were lovely and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We needed easy access for a couple of our guests and our table was in a perfect position, we had plenty of space and near to amenities. Sunday lunch was delicious and plentiful. We all enjoyed our meals..perfect all round.

A lovely hotel with exceptional staff. The food is amazing, with Yorkshire sized portions. We felt really at home during our stay. Would definately visit again.

Excellent food and service , we had the lunchtime menu deal , 2 courses for £12 , you certainly got plenty and it was nice and hot, would definitely recommend .

We had a very pleasant three nights stay here. Easy to find and plenty of well lit parking spaces. Lounge and dining area are spacious. Breakfast was excellent and service was quick and friendly. Evening meals were just as good, portions were very generous. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in/out was swift.

Spent morning walking on beautiful downs with breathtaking views. Then delighted to find delicious nut roast with all the trimmings. Very generous portions may have smaller next time so we can fit in a pudding!
