Nice pub in my local area, fantastic staff and reasonably priced food and drinks. The food isn't the best quality, i get the impression that they batch cook all of their meat and then apply it to anything in the menu that needs it, so you end up with food that tastes pretty similar (i.e. the lasagane tasted like the meatballs). My parents stay in the hotel part frequently and are very complimentary and impressed with that part of the business.

Rooms were lovely. Breakfast was different price before 10 which was bizarre. Staff was friendly and accommendating. Heating wouldn't turn off making our rooms uncomfortably hot. And I know it's a pub but music was quite loud till around 11.30. Would come back again as price was very good.

AWFUL ESTABLISHMENTWent with the wife as we had heard good of the place from friends who live in the area. When we went everything appeared nice until we noticed one of the adult employees (bald male mid 40s to early 50s) appearing to harass a younger employee. Made us both feel extremely uncomfortable and ruined the evening. Definitely will not be returning if this is the practices they carry out.HIGHER UPS IN THIS BUSINESS NEED TO BE PUT IN THEIR PLACEAWFUL MISTREATMENT OF YOUNGER STAFF MEMBERS AND ABUSE OF POWER

Live very locally, it’s a nice quiet pub however the staff do not feel accommodating at all. The drinks and the food were decent however you felt very alienated if you’re not a recognised local.

Me and my boyfriend were going there for an evening out and ordered the chicken burger and a steak. The chicken burger patty was cold and the chef had some awful music blaring! So loud, and made the whole experience very unpleasant. Not going to return after that. Infuriating that I even spent money on the meal. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Only stayed one night. Amazing staff, good food and a special thank you to the manageress and chef who sorted our dietary issues with 100% professionalism. Highly recommended. Thank you all.

We had a family meal to celebrate my eldest's 21st birthday. The menu choice was varied, and the wait staff were lovely. We all had a lovely time! I'd give a 5th star if they had more vegetarian options.

I ate here twice while in the area for a wedding. The 1st night I had a homemade pie. It was absolutely gorgeous. On our last night we went for a Sunday roast with two carnivores a vegetarian and a vegan. They really couldn’t be more accommodating. They listened to our dietary requirements and produced amazing food. I can’t thank you enough for a truly wonderful meal. The pub has an amazing atmosphere and all of the staff are friendly & polite.I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Six of us went on a Saturday lunchtime to celebrate our granddaughter's 21st. It was very welcoming and the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good, with a choice to suit all tastes. Prices very reasonable. Small car park, but can reserve a place for disabled, with access to the rear. Otherwise one step. No disabled toilet, but accessible, and spotless! Thankyou, Hollies.

Had breakfast here today and it was excellent!! The food was amazing quality and what I would call great pub grub! Lovely village pub with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We all went home full and happy and wondering why we hadn't visited sooner! Definitely going to make this more regular! 👍👍
