Traditional village pub, very friendly, good food with brilliant choice on menu. Dog friendly. Returning in July to try the bed and breakfast.

Excellent management, staff, location, good value beer, very nice food, parkingTotally recommended.We had a lovely meal. The chef was serving. A great guy.We stayed overnight. Our room was warm and spacious and the shower was powerful.Our breakfasts were excellent. One full English, one gammon egg and chips. All very tasty.

Friendly welcome from landlady. Nice surroundings ie. Log fire proper country pub with locals. The food menu has a good variety but portions could have been bigger especially for young lads with good appetites. It's home cooked food which is why we chose it but would definitely benefit from home cooked chips. Frozen chips look and taste what they are. Fully understand that this can be time consuming but it just gives it that finish. That said we would book to go again

Recommend for a Sunday lunch. Food a good standard and an extraordinary selection of vegetables . Staff very welcoming.

Stayed before Simon & Helen fantastic hosts. Great accommodation and home cooked food. Adrians breakfast not to be missed 😊.

Stayed the night and had a meal. The food was exceptional. Atmosphere really friendly and staff lovely. Would gave given it 5 stars but for the bathroom. The shower really needed a good clean around the bottom and so could the skirting boards. Other than that lovely stay.
