The cod was large and delicious, chips tasted great and there's a sign to tell you the variety of potatoes being used that day. Definitely my go to place for fish and chips.

Absolutely appalled by this place. EVERYTHING is food is cooked in the SAME oil regardless of whether vegetarian or not and with no consideration for allergies. My partner is now waitung for an emergency medical appointment and all he ordered was chips. Chips should mean simply potatoes fried in oil. Absolutely appalled. Zero signage stating this. Detailing allergens is a must nowadays.

Nice chippy but be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes, even if you only want a small bag of chips as they serve everyone in order. If someone in front of you wants a chicken burger and something else that needs to be made from scratch you will be waiting for your chips until they have got theirs, even though you could have been served in less than a minute!

Quite simply, the best fish & chips for miles around. Lovely clean premises, and food is consistently good. Well worth me travelling a bit further to get my fish & chips here.

Absolutely appalled by the state of the potion of cheesy chips I got. Not only was it half a portion but they weren't even cooked and I have more cheese on my feet.
