Visited the OC last Saturday for a pint and had a delicious plate of Fish & Chips! The Beer Garden was a beautiful sun trap, the staff were warm and friendly. Overall a great experience and highly recommend!

The newly renovated pub provides a good range of seating options and a fresh feel. We had a range of starters and they were all good. Overall a good experience.

Popped in today, really friendly welcome, our little dog was also welcomed. Cracking pint of DNA, my wife had the Vietcong Salad ,I had the Lamb Burger. Both meals were fresh and tasty . The homemade coleslaw was delicious. Lovely skin on chips as well.Get yourselves in there if you're in town.

I ordered chicken which at the time if they would have said it will take a little bit longer l would have ordered beef l actually think they must have forgotten my chicken it took over an hr and about 10 people who came in after us must have ordered beef as they were all served before us as l had ordered chicken and when l did get it it was only to small pieces of chicken l can't believe it took that amount of time hence l will not be going there again

My husband and I visited the Oliver Cromwell last night for the first time since it’s refurbishment. Always loved the old pub and pleased to see its retained its charm. The atmosphere was lovely and the furnishings comfortable. The new decor makes for pleasant surroundings too. We hadn’t planned to eat in there but having seen food arrive at the next table we were enticed to order the satay chicken wings and Parmesan and truffle chips. Both were superb. The pub was busy but the food came out in a timely manner and was hot. You won’t get a cheap snack here but if the food we had last night is anything to go by then it is certainly worth the price. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Popped in tonight with a group of women after a meal out and was met with a thriving and lively atmosphere. It's been a while since I've been into a pub with a genuinely welcoming and buzzing culture. Staff are chilled, friendly, and swift at serving. Fellow drinkers are astonishingly polite and generous. This place has spirit while also feeling safe. I only wish this pub was my local!

This is one of the oldest pubs in St. Ives and it has undergone a refurbishment, light and bright, but not spoiled the old charm. The feature well has a glass floor and there is an outside area. I had the duck spring rolls as a light lunch and they were lovely with a cup of coffee. Dog friendly.
