A brilliant experience - the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious with lots of options for different dietary requirements. Lovely and lively atmosphere for a family meal or a drink with friends in the cosy bar area.

Absolutely lovely meal here this afternoon! Clean, cozy and inviting historic atmosphere with attentive and very friendly waitstaff. I ordered a lamb pie with mash and it was excellent—piping hot, full of flavor and generous portions. Wish I could rate 6 stars!

What a delightful place for a convivial evening. Staff were helpful and friendly - paid attention to customer service which is sadly lacking in many places these days. I had left my glasses on the table and was caught up by a staff member to return them - above and beyond the call of duty I say!

This pub beckons from the outside, it is warm and cosy on the inside, with a very traditional feel about it. We sat in a cosy corner in easy chairs with candles in the window and nice subtle lighting to enjoy our hot chocolate.
