The staff here were very attentive and helpful when we needed to move table. We also had a pizza takeout. These freshly baked pizzas are worth the visit.

We had a lovely nights stay here. Amazing food and comfortable room. But what stood out most of us, was the customer service. Every single person we spoke to was kind, considerate and nothing was any trouble. It made us think that the staff must really enjoy working here

Terrible service..How this establishment has 5 stars is beyond me..firstly the waitress arrived knocked the menu off the table and looked at me to pick it up! Ordered a no 5 Pizza then another waitress came over with a no 2 Pizza after realising it was the wrong one she walked off..NO opolagy!Leaving me sat there whilst my daughter started eating her meal which she said was only luke warm..so she left it.The original waitress who took our orderStarted cleaning the table opposite.I asked her if my Pizza was on its way of which she mumbled something under her breath and walked off just plain rude!Not the kind of service you expect we shall not be returning..

Went for a nice lunch. Good wine list, outdoor seating. Everything was fabulous and they served the best scotch eggs ever.

Arrived at check in time (3pm) to find one parking spot left, there are parking spots with signs for the 9 rooms clearly marked by signs, these were all full. The outside undercover eating area was full of people, so I’m guessing they are the ones parked there, this will be a big problem in summer. Besides this problem, staff are very personable, the room was charming, music playing for us, fresh cooked cookies delivered to our door, MASSIVE bed, quality condiments and toiletries. Very nice meal at night, and a hearty breakfast. Definitely be back to this hotel!

Fantastic stay, friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, fair prices, lush breakfast and food in general, nice in-room treats and a comfy bed! Would stay again in a heart beat!

Quality of food is excellent and staff are extremely kind and helpful. My only disappointment is the new menu as there isn't a wide selection of meals like there was before Covid, but I think that's due to the lockdowns. Will still continue to go to support the local business.

We were pleasantly surprised and Impressed by our pie meals. They were delicious and filling. The waitress was also nice and friendly, and was very accommodating to our family. I would highly recommend here and come again, if we're ever in the area!

Amazing place great atmosphere, friendly staff, good range of drinks and guest ales. The food, however, is the highlight. We had a couple of their pies, they are massive and so tasty!! Pizzas look great too. Highly recommended! 👍👌
