In the area on holidayFound this venue on my phone last night.Phoned and booked and very pleased. All the veg cooked to perfection.I am not a big fan of roasts but I would recommend to all.VALUE FOR MONEY.

We both had the carvery, which was excellent quality as always. However, on this occasion the food was not as hot as it could be. Deserts were reasonably priced, and good sized portions. Only 3 stars due to the now ludicrous price of a bottle of wine, with nearly all being north of £20 per bottle for ordinary wines which are a few pounds in the supermarket. The Pheasant has always been very dear for drinks, but this is ridiculous.

Excellent food and service. We always come for the carvery and it never disappoints. I had the pork and it was very tender, the roasties were fluffy and the veg was cooked perfectly.I had biscoff cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive as well. We love the Pheasant!

Easy to book. A warm welcome and a table provided near the Carvery for us (my wife has a walking frame). Very good quality food as usual and a very reasonable price. We've visited quite a number of times now and certainly intend to come again!

Very well organized visit. Restaurant was very busy but staff coped very well. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Sunday roast was very good too. Well done to everyone 😊 Carol and John

Went for Sunday carvery.Couldn’t fault it. £12.50 for a large plate and help yourself.Good selection of meat and veg.Meat was a generous portion. Meat was not fatty and no wastage. Would definitely recommend.Only gripe was our table was next to carvery so a lot of traffic. This place gets busy and had a queue for carvery but it moved rather quickly.Would definitely visit again.Probably best to book.

Absolutely delicious food. The vegetarian option is great as well. The service was a little slow but it was also very busy, so understandable. The staff are very attentive and helpful when available. Will definitely visit again soon.

Delicious lunch at the Sunday carvery. Friendly, polite staff couldn't have been more helpful. Fantastic prices, the best around the locality. Definitely will return

Had Sunday carvery. Lovely pub, very friendly, pleasant accommodating staff. The food was of a very good standard. However the food presentation on the plate was terrible. There was no separation between the items they were just piled on top of each other . Not very appetizing.

Fantastic carvery with a quality choice of meats, veggies, gravies, sauces and sides. This really is home cooked quality, which is a rare achievement for a 'volume' carvery. We've had the large and the medium sizes and all are generous and tasty enough that you'll want to eat it all! Staff are professional, attentive and willing to help and answer queries. Every customer we saw left happy with a smile on many faces. Well done to everyone there, what a credit. A real pleasure, can't wait to go again and take more of the family there to enjoy this gem of a place.
