The best food I've had in a long time. We had the fishcakes, salmon, chicken with mozzarella new potatoes and veg, sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate truffle. Everything was cooked to perfection

Very nice indeed. Friendly welcome, attentive service, food was delicious from starters to puds. Very organised too, was busy but felt relaxed, light and airy restaurant felt comfortable too. Recommend a visit 👌🏼

Fabulous family run pub, delightful service and excellent food

What a pleasure, having booked for Sunday Roasts today's choice was no exception. What a lovely selection there was. In addition the A La Carte Menu was also available. I went for one of my favourites, the steak pie. The rest of the family chose for traditional roasts and weren't disappointed. All food is locally produced, beautifully cooked and served with politeness and a friendly smile. Thank you Poplars.

Nearly drove past this Gem, a quick stop in to grab a snack. Ended up with 2 of the most amazing roast dinners. The lamb just melted away and all roasts potatoes and veg were cooked to perfection. Great price too.

Lovely country pub vibe on the outskirts of Trowbridge.Places to park, wheelchair accessible.Small menu but perfectly balanced, something there for everyone.Gluten free options available too 🙂Beautifully presented dishes, insta friendly 😉🍽️🤤Its not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. Was a really nice treat and I'd definitely go again.Clean and intimate. Friendly staff.

Well when we went here it was fantastic. Nice lady served our food. She and her family owned the pub. This is a well run family business, so if you want to eat good quality food, reasonable price, with a clean place to eat get a table booked.Well done guys

The food was excellent, everyone was happy with it both adults and children. Good and varied menu, excellent service and reasonably priced. We will definitely go again. The only day thing is that it isn't closer to where we live so we could go more often 😀.

You'll come to an ample car park, with a welcoming entrance close to an outdoor dining area. Inside, a cozy dining area near the bar leads to a larger room. The menu has pared down since Covid, but still covers a solid offering of above-average pub food, done to a higher standard. The evening we dined, the lamb shank and pork belly specials took the first place among other good choices.
