We had lunch; very good food, lovely pub.

Lovely venue, fantastic staff. My potatoes were up there with the best I've had in a pub but the pork t bone was overdone and quite dry but a lot of places still do that. My other half loved her moules and you certainly can't fault the portions. Lovely venue and the addition of a lovely black lab cuddle monster makes it a lovely place to frequent.

Fantastic restaurant quality food at a fair price.We were seated as a family of eight and accomadiated without issue.The ambience is warm and welcoming and the staff friendly 5/5 stars.*Additionally they have a pub dog called Dexter, which is of course a great addition to the overall experience.

Visited while staying in the area for a few days and now trying to work out when we can come back. Excellent menu, carefully prepared and executed, can't fault anything, just wish I'd had space to try one of the desserts. Wonderful service as well, wish I lived nearer.

I eat out 3-4 days a week all over Europe pre-Covid and I can honestly say that every time I eat here it’s beyond good but exceptional. Without fail. Truly my new favourite place to eat. You won’t be disappointed

Always great food, friendly staff and prompt service. The veggie burger with an epic amount of Goats cheese is my favourite.A real gem that is the halfway point for my best friend and I to meet at. Really glad we found the Prince Leopold.

IF, and it's a big "if", you are lucky enough to find a table in this excellent, end of the village, sort-of-gastropub, then your luck is 95% in, that you will have a delicious dining experience. That's it, say no more, I don't want any more people to go there! ;-)

Sunday lunch was excellent, both quality and quantity. In fact couldn't eat everything. We were lucky with the weather too so sat in garden in brilliant sunshine 26/09/21. Service was also excellent. Thoroughly recommend, just so long as not too many people head there when I want to 😜

This is the best pub roast I have ever found. It is a great setting, really friendly staff and the food is consistently excellent. Six of us ordered roasts and every element was perfect. I cannot recommend it enough.

Went here on a Friday evening for food and a few drinks with another couple.The food and service was outstanding.We had the sharing cheese for starters and it was one of the best we have ever had.I had a pulled duck burger, it was amazing. Others had the surf and turf and both really enjoyed their steaks.This is a beautiful pub situated by the river. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place. But do book and not just turn up as they get very busy.
