Me and a friend travelled from Birmingham to the cotswolds for a weekend break and were recommended the rattlebone inn for dinner on our first night there, and it was DELICIOUS! Beautiful homemade pies and the drinks were good too! Sat in front of a log fire. We even booked in for their Sunday lunch before we went back home. When we visit again we will make sure to stop off here again! We still talk about the food all the time now! Beautiful pub, delicious food and lovely staff and atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more!

Yet again we had a splendid lunch and an enjoyable visit. The Rattlebone staff are very attentive, the food is excellent (possibly the best pub food in the area) and the pub itself is very pleasant inside. The baked Camembert (a starter for two) was served with a nice selection of breads, pickles and salad. We both followed with the partridge (from the specials board) which was nicely cooked and served with a generous helping of perfectly cooked vegetables. The Butcombe on draught was good. We will be back. Sherston itself is a pretty village with several nice walks in the surrounding countryside.

Took my Gran and Mum here today for a perfect meal! Staff were fantastic, pub was great, accomodating the family dog, the food was exceptional! Smiles all round and even a treat for the tired dog! Highly recommend the visit and will certainly be visiting again when in the area!

Very good food... The Sunday roasts are clearly popular and you should definitely book a table. We actually went for the pan fried cod with samphire and spicy veggie burgers respectively. Both meals were delicious as was the pint of excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord that I washed it down with..recommended and I'd definitely go back.

(Before lockdown)Excellent! Every time we've been it has been top draw, couldn't fault food, service or drinks. Would highly recommend going, would advice to book if visiting for food. Staff and restaurant really good. Can't rate the food enough, would recommend paying that little bit extra to come here. You do need to park in the high street but there is always spaces and definitely worth a visit

Tasty food and friendly service in a proper pub. Not much atmosphere but it was an early lunch reservation with not many others in at the time. Highly recommend the baked camembert, that alone was worth the trip!
