Friendly and accommodating. Visited with elderly family for food and felt very well looked after. Hope to return again soon.

Nice quiet place for a pint. Decent beer. Lovely warm fire on when we visited

Lovely pub, great beer selection and bar staff very friendly to us being the first time we've visited.

Nice pub, but unfortunately the kitchen seems to be more closed than open - usually on a Sunday.

Friendly pub with excellent garden space and car park opposite. Dogs allowed. Kitchen sadly closed during my visit but already planning our next visit.

I have been to this pub a few times before and to be quite honest it was fine, pleasant atmosphere, food was mediocre and yes I would have normally gone back there but for the service and attitude I had to day from a bar man with a beard. He was rude and had attitude towards my friend who was enquiring after food who was told there was no food being served until after a certain time due to a wake being held. Under normal circumstances I could understand this but there was only fifteen to twenty people in the funeral party with no other customers in the pub. We were there at half an hour before the wake was to begin so how long does it take to cook three burgers.Naturally I shall be voting with my feet and not visiting this pub again which is a shame.

Stop here on the way back home with are dog. For a drink in the pub garden the grass and area was well maintained would of like a meal but to early in the afternoon. The staff were very friendly the menu looked good if in the area again would have a meal.

Decent local pub, serving traditional pub food. Nice big beer garden, with a playground for the kids.

Lovely country pub full of character and charm. Sumptuous sofas to sit and read magazines and papers. Lively and well used beer garden with excellent childrens areaTwo friends on a motorcycle meet up,one from Banbury and myself from Burnham on sea. Great equidistant rendezvous and great food and service. All in all a fantastic place to spent a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon.

Lovely village pub, with a great menu. It’s an Arkell’s house, but the beer was well kept.
