Lovely pub, really friendly and more importantly great beer and food!

Just delightful sitting out in the sunshine. Lunch was superb - possibly the best burger I've ever eaten.

Beautiful village pub with lovely staff, wonderful food, wide range of ales and wine. Traditional country pub with real fire, old beams and an array of local memorabilia to add charm. Darts, sports tv away in a snug so while relaxing with a glass or two you aren’t bothered by it. Clean and fresh facilities, parking outside and a wonderful garden area for a summers day. They support the locals with fundraising and quite nights. Seem to know their locals and great their regulars by name and drink poured before they have sat down.So nice to have fresh produce and freshly made to order.Highly recommended

Welcomed on entry. Great beer. Noticed new and regular customers. Sat outside in the sunshine and thanked ourselves for revisiting this traditional pub/restaurant. Ian and Pam, I'm sure you are missed, but, it seems to be in good hands

Unassuming village pub with one of the best roast dinners I've had in a pub. Genuinely excellent.

We had a very nice Sunday lunch at The Ship which is a lovely comfortable pub. Sercice was friendly, food was great and atmosphere relaximg. Lovely open fire and tastefully decorated.

We needed a Sunday lunch stop and The Ship was on our route. It didn’t disappoint. A really lovely pub. Friendly staff and a brilliant roast. Certainly the best Yorkshire puddings I’ve ever had. The beer was terrific, too. Thank you.

Went with some friends for a Sunday roast as we were in the area. We weren't expecting the great meal that we had. Being prime time, there was a small wait on food, but this was a explained to us when we arrived. And in the end it was hardly a wait at all. The roast was cooked really well with a good range of veggies. And large portions, none of us needed puddings! All the staff were really lovely and we had a fab time. We will be back!!

A good local pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Family friendly serving nice food and a good choice of drinks. Pub is in the lovely rural village of Upavon in Wiltshire, great place to come and visit.
