Just stopped to stretch legs and have a quick drink on way home from Southampton. Not at all friendly, obviously do not like dogs, although no signs. Ordered drinks landlord rude so didn't bother staying, then get threatened that registration will be deleted. Maybe he was having a bad day? Lady was friendly

Great for a night's stay. The room was a bit small, but very clean. A river flows in front, beautiful scenery. Dinner was great - we had beer battered fish and chips. Breakfast was OK.

Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our room, lovely clean and cute!Food was beautiful! I am fussy and just a simple ask there were accommodating for me!Wonderful fun and friendly atmosphere in the bar area!

We visit this evening for a valentines/anniversary meal! Absolutely amazing food cooked to perfection and a brilliant portion. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff! Highly recommended will be returning for mothers day. Thank you 😊

We called in for sunday roast and we were not dissappointed, choice of 3 meats plus about 6 veg inc cauliflower cheese, everything was delicious we will be calling again! Yummy well done everyone concerned, thank you.

Just come back from staying at this lovely friendly pub/hotel, run by a wonderful family with wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone made us very welcome. The food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. You get quite a lot for your money. We will be back.

Brilliant lunch. Food was excellent and very well cooked. We took advantage of their excellent 2 for 14.99 meals they do Monday-Thursday.

Stopped off for lunch after a walk around Langford Lakes. A cosy bar, with wood burner, lots of comfy sofas, real ales from St Austell and Bath brewery. Tasty food value meal in the restaurant

we stopped for lunch today as a halfway stop between Portsmouth and Bristolthe choice of meals was goodthe food was very tasty and well presented.we has pate for starters then steak & ale pie with fresh seasonal vegetables . the portions were generous and home made. all in all I can fully recommend you visit if you want 'proper' food at reasonable prices.
