This was a good, quit place to stay. The staff was very helpful with any problems. We had a small issue and Nikita (manager) jumped right in and came up with some helpful solutions. They had free parking for us right on site which is a rarity with a lot of hotels we looked at. It’s right in the center of Bradford so you can walk to about everything while you stay here. It was a little tricky to find when we first got there but when I called for help they came out to the street to wave me down and show where to park. Very helpful staff. The bed was comfortable and the room didn’t feel cramped. I guess Bradford in general has poor water pressure so expect that when showering. Nice place to stay if you’re looking to be in Bradford-upon-Avon or visit Bath but not stay in Bath, which is what we did.

Such a sweet pub. Dropped in for an early dinner when everywhere else in town didn't seem to be serving yet. They did pub food and very lovely Thai food too. We chose Thai. Service was great and the waitress was fab with our boisterous children.

Me and a friend went for dinner. Food was amazing! However it was quite expensive. So make sure you've saved up a little before coming. The staff were super friendly and the place was lovely x

Great location, quirky layout reminding us of the great and beautiful history of the area, friendly staff and lovely food. My only issue .... a female thing, a fixed head shower and no way of not getting my hair wet.

Nice old hotel in centre of town. Great friendly staff. Warm comfy room up a lot of stairs with lots of tea/coffee, etc. Dined on Thai menu, average. Real wood fire in bar was nice. Bit pricey but post Covid, everywhere is.

A very nice stay in a historic old Inn that seems the centre of the community. It's a shame it isn't looked after a little better but I realise the pub trade is sufferingso money is scarce. I hope the wonderful ancient plasterwork in the dining room is saved and restored for instance. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered for me to take some oatmilk to my room for tea. Being pushy I'd liked to have seen some vegan butter at breakfast. I fell in love with BOA and I hope to return soon.

Manager was an absolute delight and clearly values his customers. However quality of room very poor for price paid. Mismatch of furniture bathroom finished to a debatable standard. Carpet not even hoovered and throughout our stay bags of linen downstairs and on landing. Ceiling in restaurant was taped up in parts and breakfast portions very small. Such a shame for such a beautiful building from the outside.

Have a good look at what your getting before you book! This is not some swanky ultra modern luxury hotel but a C1500 Coaching Inn. We stayed for three nights in room 11 which can be described as spacious, clean with a magnificently comfortable four poster king size bed. The usual coffee biscuits and water were provided. The bathroom had a bath with overhead rainforest shower which sadly can only be described as dire! Having a nice hot bath more than made up for it. The food was so good we didn’t look elsewhere for our evening meals. Both Thai and English food were available with generous portions at a reasonable price. We both loved the Phuket style Phad Thai Noodles with Chicken with the Thai Sharing plate for dessert. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable base to visit the surrounding area.

A very old quirky building, each room had its own unique layout. The shower system could do with an update! The Manager was very welcoming nothing too much trouble. Had a lovely lunch and breakfast all delicious.
