What a delightful pub this is. Located in an area of outstanding beauty. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, hot cafetière coffee followed by lunch from an extensive menu. Really cosy in winter with a lovely fire and very nice decor. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.

A traditional village Inn dating back 250 years. Run by a pleasant Kiwi couple for last 10 years serving (currently) 2 good real Ales from 4 hand pulls. The food looks good too, but these are not 'pub grub' prices. Nevertheless it's well worth a visit.

Popped in for a quick drink on the way back home from Rushmore. I haven't been there for years but it was reassuringly familiar. A warm welcome and a nice pint, promptly and cheerfully served.

Proper country village pub. Some lovely classic dishes on the menu. Portions well sized, all freshly cooked and piping hot. Couple of good draught ales and a log fire for warmth too.

Easy booking, great home cooked food, varied menu with several special dishes, host is lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended, we are definitely going back.
