The Water Meadow in Wiltshire

We had a lovely evening here. Tabatha was our waitress and she was very accommodating for our large table on my son's birthday. Always smiling and We never short of a drink anything that we needed was no trouble at all. It was a busy and very hot evening and the service was quick too. The staff had all done a great job to make us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you all

Food was excellent and the staff are very attentive. Had a steak which was cooked perfectly and everyone had enjoyed their food. Staff were very chatty, made us feel welcome and helped us decide on what to eat. Would definitely return soon. Great work all round and a very pleasant experience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our 3rd time here but the first time with our dog, I didn't know it was dog friendly until we rang up and asked but they have a doggy menu, all the staff greeted my dog, there's also a doggy water bowl at the entrance too, coming out of a little barrel which I thought was cute. Anyways I'd definitely recommend going to this restaurant with or without your pooches.

Update 28 June 22. Awesome mixed grill, ham egg and chips. Staff great too!Updated review. Popped in for a drink on a beautiful summers day. Enjoyed a couple of pints and a chicken burger. The service was excellent especially from the manager who went above and beyond! Absolutely superb all round, definitely recommend and we'll be back!Very pleasant, great staff, good food, good beer. The steak deal with wine on Thursdays is exceptionally good, £26 buys steak or mixed grill with a bottle of wine

Fantastic experience. The food was lovely and the staff really looked after us. Great service. My little boys loved the play area and the ice cream! We will be back soon. Thanks to the manager who arranged for us to sit near to the play area, to watch the kids. Nothing seemed too much for them.

Jamie and the team at The Water Meadow hosted a fantastic birthday party for our 4 year old boys. They opened especially for us for a couple of hours before general opening so we had the place to ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for them; they accommodated a bouncy castle for us in the family eating area and ran a pizza making lesson for 14 littles ones, chef hats and aprons included, whilst serving mums and dads coffees from the bar. All the children even got individual pizza making certificates at the end! We can’t praise the excellent organisation, efficiency and effort enough - thank you Jamie and the team for making it such a successful and memorable party for us all.

This local pub still makes me feel safe in this Covid-19 time. The team works very hard with the table service model. From the moment you walk in the greeting is always warm and friendly. The current 30% off mains offer is obviously testing and stressing the team as the pub is very busy and the service is not quite as perfect as it has been but as a regular I understand this. I love not having to stand at the bar trying to get served and getting trapped behind someone ordering a table of 6 food and drinks while just wanting another pint. I would like to thank the landlord and his whole team for their great work - see you next Friday!!!

The Water Meadow is so welcoming, lovely and clean and every member of staff we spoke to was lovely, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Plenty of parking available next to a couple of shops with all the essentials. The starters were really impressive, nice and fresh, hot and well-seasoned. The mains were great as well, plus everything is really fairly priced!I love places that actually give you a comprehensive drinks menu, most places just ask you what you want with no idea of the selection or price you’re paying so this was really good.Overall definitely coming back as we live a 5 minute walk away so no excuse not to really 🤭Thanks so much for amazing service.
