This is chain pub as opposed to a individual country pub so adjust your expectations accordingly. Been here for a pint before and it was good, nice ales etc......but went for a meal tonight and they forgot our order which was a bit off as the place was only about 1/4 full. They only realised after 40 mins (we were about to ask) and then retook a new order. Food arrived fairly quickly after that and was fine. Oddly we were told when we rang up to book that there were no roast dinners (we weren't planning on one anyway) only to see the table next to use be served a roast dinner despite coming in 20 mins after us. The food is nothing out of the ordinary, but it's okay. One thing that does need improving is the customer service. We counted at least 5 tables full of the previous customers plates / glasses etc that were not cleared in the 90 minutes we were there despite 3 male staff members chatting to each other at the bar for periods of time instead of clearing up. The highlight of the evening was the cook exiting from the kitchen and giving one of the bar staff the middle finger for some reason. It didn't appear to be a joke either.... If this is the level of professionalism in this country pub, I think I'd rather go somewhere else. Shame really as it could be so much better. Nice enough people but I wouldn't rush back.

This is a great place to.hang out with friends families and loved ones. There is ample parking available on site for everyone. The staff are friendly courteous and helpful and smiling too 😄😄. The food is great and the outside seating is a wonderful place. Very green quiet and tranquil with only the sounds of different birds on the distance. This place caters for everyone and anyone. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to have a great time 👍🌟. Thank you and have a great time.

Amazing place. Excellent home cooked food with a good menu. Staff very attentive and great service. Definitely going back, highly recommend.

It is a good size, well decorated pub with a cozy atmosphere and a garden with picnic tables on the grass as well as patio tables. It is about a 10 mins drive from the Stonehenge. The food was quite good. We had whitebait as starters and they were the tiniest white baits we had and fresh tasting. Their burgers (we tried beef and chicken) were very tasty and satisfying, served with fries. They also have a daily menu with interesting sounding food. Beer options were alright and staff kind.

Well established country Inn, recently changed hands, new management ,great staff, good food. Can be very busy at certain times...large carpark. Pub is large with decent tables well distanced from each other....DON'T GO THERE...! There wont be any room for us...!

Popped in on the off chance of getting a table for Sunday lunch...staff very welcoming and friendly...found us a table and promptly brought drinks. Had a delicious roast beef followed by poached fruit. Will be visiting again and recommending to family and friends.Thank you.

Heard how good the food was here, so thought we should try it out. Definitely wasn't disappointed, although the burger we ordered was delicious, it was cold. This was swiftly delt with. Fresh hot meal in its place and tasted amazing. I had the Medallions of lamb. Great mash, the braised cabbage was gorgeous and the green beans cooked perfectly. Potted Ham hock to start along with butternut Squash fritters. YUM!!! Well worth a visit!!!

Nice setting & staff seem friendly enough. However, the food in my experience was not enjoyable at all :( Carrots were extremely overcooked & floppy, roast potatoes, aside from being flavourless, were dry, old & anaemic looking. Extra gravy needed!! ..which took 3 attempts, as I was completely forgotten about, food went cold.I wish this was enjoyable. 1/10 because, the broccoli was ok. I arrived very hungry & ate almost half of it. Really, really disappointing to say the least.. Love good, fresh food, so NO I will not be returning.

Warm and welcoming country pub with a great selection of beers and drinks. The food was excellent and the menu far better than a 'typical' pub menu. More importantly the staff was amazing, providing us with great service throughout the night and spoiling our little dog with treats and cuddles :)If I'm ever in the area again I'll be returning for sure!

I think the best thing about this pub is it's location, the village is beautiful and in the summer would be a lovely place for a walk. The food was ok, quite a few veggie choices which was refreshing. The service was a bit indifferent, no one acknowledged me waiting for about ten minutes when I went in and then they'd either come over loads or not at all. I'd go back because it's worth another try, but I'd hope it's better next time.
