Popped in here on Thursday on way home from Weymouth. This is a lovely pub, that serves lovely food, very clean and also a lovely lady called Mel that was working behind the bar.Thanks for making us feel so welcome, hope to see you next time we are passing

Good food, good beer, but the best thing is the staff. Really welcoming and make you feel like you are a regular there. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice friendly, welcoming pub. Food was OK, nothing special for the price. Scampi & chips £11.99, would expect more than 8 bits of scampi with the frozen chips. My friend had the stew with mash & Yorkshire pud for the same price, but they had ran out of Yorkshire puds ( and milk, flour & eggs I'm guessing) but charged the same price!

Nice garden with small playground for the kids (and a larger public playground around the corner). ✅Friendly and attentive waitress. 👍Food generally tasted good, with the only major gripe that we asked for my steak (which was the bit I was most looking forward to) to be medium rare, but it came out well done and was thin and sinewy.Mentioned this to the waitress, but didn’t really get any response 🤷♂️Would try this place again though still 😎

Update 25th Dec 2019... Oh my goodness.. what a day. Christmas Carvery was fantastic. A magical experience with family at Christmas. The food was great from starter to dessert. The atmosphere was wonderful and I can't praise the Staff enough for making everything run so smoothly and making it a pleasure to be there. Special thanks to Sarah and Jess.👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼🤗Special official opening night for this pub. Change of landlady and now beautifully decorated and refurbished. Excellent menu and tonights hog roast was a joy to eat.Great atmosphere .. thumbs up from me and I wish all the best for the new management team. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
