First time we have been under the new management. Called in with out booking and they were really busy but we were given a table and food was out quicker than we were told it would be! An amazing Sunday roast! All the staff was really friendly and polite. We will definitely be back real soon! Thanks all

We stopped here today (Sunday 8th,May) and despite having not booked and them being really busy with pre arranged bookings they not only happily took our Sunday roast order it was was delivered to us earlier than estimated and OMG it was outstanding. We all had different meats, Gammon chicken and beef, the roast potatoes and gravy was to die for. Fabulous selection of fresh cooked vegetables. From the moment we stepped in the front door to the moment we left everyone was friendly helpful so glad to have meet you all and will definitely be back soon. Thank you 😊

Great little pub, fully refurbished with the camp site, which is right on the river and convenient for local interests, the chalk horse, stonehenge etc. Lovely clean services, live music at the weekends, nice cafe opposite the Barge down the road.

New owners are lovely. Super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. My partner has an allergy and if we book a table and remind them when booking they accommodate his allergy, cannot fault them. Food is tasty too.

Country pub with classic feel making for a very good atmosphere. Different bar/seating areas allow for a homely feel at least one of the cosy bar areas has an open fire. The menu is a bit limited but the variety is decent I think most people will find something to eat. Time to food from ordering was about an hour which is a little long I think. The food quality was amazing I had the buttermilk chicken to start with ranch sauce, it was very good.My main was the chicken burger with fries and slaw. The fries were over cooked and hard to get my fork into without them scooting across the plate. However the burger and slaw was amazing!! Absolutely loved the burger. My mother in law had the 8oz sirloin steak which she asked for medium/well it was cooked to perfection and the side salad was ace.Dessert was the spiced apple crumble, again absolutely lovely. My wife had the sticky toffee pudding which tasted great and was very light, perfect the wife said; slight issue it was cold in the middle. However the pub apologised profusely and took it off the bill so they handled the situation perfectly.Overall we were very happy with the whole experience, another great touch was some lovely background music at just the right volume; another great touch that added to a near perfect atmosphere.Staff were very friendly and welcoming, we think they were perhaps 1 staff member light in front of house, but nearly every eatery is struggling for staff presently so we would suspect they are doing the best with what they can hire…..the staff they have are great.Overall totally recommend a visit.

Lovely pub. Nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely garden & outdoor seating area. We'll kept lawn and surroundings, with a children's play area. Highly recommended.

We booked a table with four adults & two toddlers at 6 pm and left the pub at 9 pm after we waited 2hr 15 minutes, no communication about delays and missing ingredients near the start of service. Food was average, not justifying the price. They did acknowledge fault and reduced the cost of the meal which was appreciated but such a shame we didn't celebrate our mum's birthday.

Nice big garden nice beer, and thats it! The food order was incorrect we ordered olives, oil and bread for two. The ploughman's that turned up looked OK but was not what we ordered. The staff member who served us although very polite seemed not to grasp (or really did not understand about customer satisfaction) the fact that the order was wrong and over charged. Well, on bringing out our order for the second time...... it was wrong, olives, oil and bread for one. Not crusty bread but two very dry slices of a French stick (I presume), some olives that looked like they had been hanging around well past there best and no way of picking them up, all it needed was a cocktail stick..... so, we had been served the wrong order, twice over charged and very disappointed. We did get a refund of the over charged payment only after going to the bar and disturbing the staff who were tucking into their lunch, after the refund I was asked to pay for the unsatisfactory bread and olives. Although the staff member who served us was polite they had no idea about customer relations. Sorry not a pub on my list. The garden and camping area was very tidy and looked inviting.

5***** Brilliant!we were due to stay at another pub/campsite last night, it didn't work out. we ended up at the Woodbridge, on the off chance that they may have space. Kelly and Danny went above and beyond to accommodate us, even sourcing us some electricity so we could watch the football.we had take away burger and chips from the pub, which was absolutely delicious!the prices were extremely reasonable and portions were plentiful!there were toilets, showers, wash facilities, waste facilities and water!dogs are also welcomed and there is plenty of equipment and space for children to play.would 100% stay again, very lovely and friendly staff who went above and beyond for us!thank you so much!
