Had a family meal here of 16+ people and the service was good, the staff helpful, reasonable price and the pie was fantastic. Served tribute to also get bonus points, 5 stars, would definitely come back.

Happy to accommodate a large family group. Very reasonably priced and varied menu. No problem with gluten free. Lovely staff.

Simple, unpretentious country pub with very good menu... BUT... just delicious English food. Portions sizes are excellent. Staff very friendly and welcoming - a must visit !

Ace place. Everything we love in a pub...well kept beer, Chenin blanc, proper homemade food and a chilled feel to the place. Service was good and not 'in your face'. Revisit is called for!

We love the Wooden Spoon!! Visit from Salisbury regularly as it is an ideal half way meet up venue for our family. Often prefer it to many of the options in Salisbury when just us two. Food is always freshly made and always delicious. Gorgeous garden, cosy surroundings and really friendly welcoming hosts! Do not hesitate to recommend this little gem.

The food was lovely, so much to choose from👌🏻👌🏻 Friendly owners. Being dog friendly was a bonus.There was also a nice real fire🔥.

A delightful unassuming little pub, producing a great steak and ale pie and spicy fish cakes. Good real ale and excellent choice of 'local' gins. Very attentive service from friendly family.

Nice interior, very polite and welcoming owners, chatted lots, food was decent. Was out for a birthday..enjoyed it..log fires..shame there wasnt any other customers in our part..Pictures are of our starters, fried brie and cranberry and home made pate with toast..lovely..

What a treat. My wife and I came here during our honeymoon and we never wanted to leave. Amazing food, spectacular service, and some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
