Toby Carvery Amesbury in Wiltshire

We had booked a table and were quickly shown to our table. We were all having the carvery and took it in turns to go and choose our meals.Usual choices of meat and Yorkshire pudding then the brilliant array of vegetables, pasta and other potatoe dishes.All well presented although some of the serving spoon handles were a little hot.

What on earth is going on with the takeaway system here??? I ordered three SINGLE roast takeaways for elderly relatives who don't live with each other. The takeaways are just lumped together and not packed as single meals. I had to go through the two bags I had, and split the meals into three. When I asked for three separate, single meal, I expected them to be packed in singles and not all lumped together. Please deliver what you say, single meals as single meals.

Such great food, excellent value and all round brilliant service. The restaurant was incredibly busy. but everything seemed to run like clockwork. Would highly recommend.

Very busy when we turned up without a booking, the staff found us a table straight away! The service was excellent, the staff, although, very busy were attentive, efficient and friendly, and the food was great! Thanks to all! D&D

Very good. Could have been warmer but there was a tidy queue. Staff most helpful. Don't buy the bottled drink! Not cheap! Thank you.

Good food but ques were long for food parking was good and the place was packed . Might suggest a front door person that will be there all the time we waited for 10 minutes before we even saw a person that worked there so maybe more staff is needed as they were all busy . Overall good experience

Whilst the food at every Toby Carvery is pretty much the same; the employees aren’t. I recommend coming to this one because of the way we were treated by them after an altercation with some other patrons. I was threatened and made to feel uncomfortable but the staff there were lovely. It was not their fault and they made us feel extremely welcome. I can’t fault the way they handled the situation so it has left a very positive memory! Food was nice and as usual; I ordered a big plate and unable to finish it all!

Excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money and fresh carvery.Extremely well run restaurant 👌

I have never try Roast Dinner before and I can tell that it was delicious. That was an interesting experience. Everything in this restaurant was good except long waiting for the staff to clean up the table and order a desserts, but the rest was really nice. I really enjoyed it.
