Toby Carvery Trowbridge in Wiltshire

This is a new idea for a Toby carvery built into a retail shop unit Vs a traditional pub. As a result it's quite a bit smaller than usual, but the food was as good as always. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Alas this one was a long way from home, but I'd highly recommend and would love to go back soon

Everything was good. I would not recommend it to others however, as I did not feel that it was good value for money. The portions of meat was very skimpy to say the least. If you enjoy heaping your plate with vegitables ( and most did to the extent that a lot looked to be leftover and wasted). I and my family prefer a balanced plateful so that I do not have to feel that I must be greedy on the vegitables to get value for money

The server we had was lovely and polite. The food was very dry, couldn't even get the stuffing out of the serving dish as it was rock solid. The beef had no taste. The children's menu was disappointing as well. Desserts for the children were fine.

Very efficient and friendly staff. The food was very good. Choice of four different meats. Gammon, beef, lamb and turkey. The trays were quickly topped up if they started running low. Will definitely go back. The desserts were big portions so we shared one.

Went for the Sunday carvery today. Had a little of each meat. All of it was delicious. Great choice of perfectly cooked vegetables. Perfect Sunday dinner when you have fussy children present. Everyone enjoyed. Great value for money. Thoroughly recommend

Awful experience. We arrived and ordered 2 roasts, kids pasta and unlimited refills. We had to ask for glasses halfway through our meals so we could go get a drink. When we asked the waitress she didn’t seem bothered that she has forgot and someone else brought them to our table. She finally brought the kids pasta out us but dumped it hanging off the side of the table and walked off. Such a poor attitude.The beef we had was literally lumps of fat which was inedible and the stuffing was rock hard. The mint sauce was jelly and overall was very very poor.Half way through the dinner one of the staff decided to wash the nozzle and the drip tray from the only drinks machine in the dish washer, meaning Nobody could get a drink or refill. So we paid for unlimited refills but only had one drink. There were lots of people trying to get drinks from the machine with no luck. None of the staff cared about this and just watched people try over and over again. We had to hunt down a member of staff to pay. We nearly just walked out. No one would have noticed or cared. The staff weren’t interested at all.Won’t be going there again I can assure you.

A fantastic Sunday lunch with my husband and our youngest son. Although the restaurant was busy, it felt very comfortable with a family atmosphere. The food was excellent and great value and would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a relaxed meal and we're looking forward to going back

A bit hit and miss. Sometimes the food is good, other times not so much. My biggest issue is they don't always replace the empty food fast enough. The staff are always friendly and helpful though. What day you decide to go can make a big difference.

Fabulous help yourself to Carvery Roast of meats available! Which in our case was Turkey Lamb and Beef with absolutely everything help yourself to as much as u can eat. Gravy was lush and thick, how I like it. Definitely fulfilled my Roast craving. Will definitely go back again. I wanted dessert, but didn't have room for it at the time so ordered my dessert to takeaway with us and have at home with cup tea. Yum!!! They obliged so looking forward to eating my billionares slice later.
