Wellington in Wiltshire
Where is Wellington?
🏠 46 High St, Marlborough SN8 1HQ
"Our Grade II listed building dates back centuries and is rumoured to have been the starting point of the Great Fire of Marlborough in 1653. After the near total destruction of the fire, The Wellington Arms was rebuilt in the early 19th Century. It's the perfect place to relax and take in the atmosphere of the bustling market square."

Excellent traditional high street pub. Wide selection of beverages in a historic setting. A nice meal in the pleasant outdoor beer garden on a perfect sunny day. A good mix of local clientele and visitors.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and great pies and mash. If you're hungry and in Marlborough go and have a pie.

We visited several pubs during a weekend in Marlborough and enjoyed this one the most. Fun service and we were welcomed back on the second visit, they really like people. The ale was excellent and my Aperol spritz was refreshing.

Nice pub with small area out the back, good service but unfortunately the guy was on his own behind the bar at lunchtime, so food was very slow coming. Pies were nice but pizza was a bit disapointing.
