Staff were very attentive, this was my first outing for a meal with my new born baby. We were sat in the room at the back with ample space for the pram. Food was outstanding and staff double checked with the kitchen regarding food ingredients due to allergies.

Chose Chateaubriand, had steak medium rare which was nice. Onion rings and tomato’s nicely cooked too, Chips not the best, some were hard and cut too thick, an option would have been nice. Also had the truffle butter, bad choice, thought it was a sauce but wasn’t, this would have been nice on bread. Should have chosen the pepper corn sauce or asked for gravy. Nice choice of wines & bottled beers.

Absolutely lovely place. Tranquil setting, nicely decorated, comfortable seating. Warm and friendly welcome, plenty of pleasant, helpful staff. Great menu and the quality of the food was outstanding. Wholeheartedly recommend and looking forward to returning soon.

The White Hart Ford, Chippenham is a must.Such a beautiful and unique place with plenty of character. The rooms are charming and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is lovely with great service and delicious food. The scenery surrounding the building is something from a fairytale. Plenty of seating out in the gardens on a nice day, lovely to listen to the stream running through the garden and the birds, whilst sat on the swing bench with a drink in hand. Its really pretty in the evenings when the lights are on.I really enjoyed my stay.I will be back.Thank you to Adam and his team.

Absolutely spot on. Service was excellent, venue itself is full of charm and the food was nothing short of perfection. Top marks also for being a dog friendly pub, this meant for a totally inclusive experience and George loved it too. Outstanding food so compliments to the chef!

What a lovely pub, set in a beautiful location. The walk from the car park takes you over a stream where the trees are lit with fairy lights. The menu seemed a little smaller than last time we visited, but there was still plenty to choose from. I had the ribeye which was perfectly cooked, my wife had a huge burger which she loved. We had the sharing dessert which ruined the diet, but was splendid. Staff was attentive and efficient as always. A very pleasant and relaxed evening.

Amazing stay in "The Shoe"! Staff are very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was amazing! Lovely views and Castle Coombe just round the corner. Thank you so much for our break away from the city life ❤

My fiance and I visited this cosy, beautiful English pub. We received a warm welcome and the service were fast and attentive. Although we were late, the staff were kind and didn't mind. The food was absolutely incredible. We would love to return in the summer and enjoy the courtyard.

I was really looking forward to our visit as I'd driven past months ago and thought it looked really lovely. The menu also looked great. Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience. I asked for a table with space for 2 large and 2 medium dogs but when we arrived we were given a table by an exit with no space at all. When I asked if we could sit at an empty table with more space I was told no because it wasn't laid. I had to ask if it could be laid and begrudgingly she asked someone to lay it for us. Our 2 waitresses were really lovely but we were made to feel quite unwelcome on our arrival. We decided to splash out and all get steak for our lunch. Unfortunately it was very chewy, gristley and quite small. It came out very quickly but the chips were almost cold and it came without the mushrooms. It was also very under seasoned or maybe not atall.Really lovely place, lovely 2 waitresses that served us but overall disappointed. Shame

We arrived around 5:30pm on the Saturday and were checked in straight away very quickly with no hassle. The room was lovely although a few small hairs were found on the bedding. We had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely incredible. The night spent in the room was very pleasant and quiet with no noises waking us up. Breakfast the next morning was enjoyable and peaceful. All of the staff were extremely helpful and very on the ball. Check out was easy too.
