Armagh City hotel in Armagh

Nice big airy spaces and friendly atmosphere. Prices a bit on the high side for eating out. Food nice, but not outstanding. However I would highly recommend it as a great place to meet up with friends and family as there is no hurry to put you out when you have finished your meal. Good venue for conferences as well, loads of space and parking.

Although the hotel is a little dated I found it to be very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We ate dinner in the bar and we both thought it was excellent. We were lucky with the weather too and enjoyed a few drinks on the wonderful decking area

Great hotel. Ultra friendly staff (esp Lisa on the desk), good food, clean, well appointed room, absolutely no complaints. Breakfast (self service) was great quality and had loads of choice. Will be back!!!!

Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff and food is amazing. Room are spacious clean and bright. Wouod highly recommend the hotel. Will be back again.

Beautiful hotel, lots of choice inside. Small cafe in reception area, bar and grill and restaurant. Swimming pool and well equipped gym. Staff are fantastic great service but not to so much as to interrupt your meal. They will observe and offer you drinks or clearing the table only when they see you need and never leave you with an empty glass like some places when busy. They did have a leak in the ceiling and a bucket catching the drops which looked bad but didn't effect the service or ambient of the meal. All areas are a mix of locals and guests which is a good sign. The gym also is members and guests so has a buzz in it that makes going in and using it less awkward and gives a nice atmosphere. Easy walking distance to shops etc in the city . The food was lovely. We will be back.

I will write a review in next few days but lovely stay, and a wonderful sign of business when you see manager jumping into every role and not just watching on staff working, and queue forming,. Peter madden you are a real asset to the hotel,

The customer service at entrance at door for Covid check was brilliant so helpful the room we stay in was clean comfortable and bed so comfortable staff at reception were brilliant and waitresses were well dressed and food was delicious, plenty to pick from continental breakfast to Irish breakfast full fry, highly recommend this hotel l also have to highlight the housekeeping staff we met on each floor doing their job brilliant work well done l will be back

I recently stayed at this Hotel.I can highly recommend this Hotel, My experience here was outstanding.i really enjoyed my stay. The management and staff were ever so friendly and helpful. Rooms were extremely clean and presented ever so well. I really enjoyed my stay at the Armagh City Hotel. I will be without a doubt returning. Armagh is a beautiful place and locals are very friendly.

Quick weekend break. The swimming and health facilities were fantastic. The restaurant had beautiful food. The room was fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. However the one thing that sets this hotel apart was the staff. From the doorman who greeted us at arrival and every member of staff who we met afterwards they were polite, professional and so considerate. Very reasonably priced too considering the beautiful breakfast that is included and use of leisure facilities. Really enjoyable stay.

Great place. We had our wedding reception here 5 years ago and the place is still fantastic. We were allowed to check in early due to my wife being pregnant, very friendly staff and when they knew it was out wedding anniversary they gave us complimentary shortbread love hearts with strawberries in chocolate. Loved it.
