Food is hearty and fresh. Have been a few times and was not disappointed each time. The desserts, scones, traybakes and selection of pies to take home is fabulous.Great wee place with local artists works decorating the walls. Love seeing local talent being spotlighted.My mum particularly loved the lemon meringue and I enjoyed the fresh apple tart with cream.Parking can be a bit unaccessible for anyone with a disability or with a pram as it's on a hill but not too bad if you have support.Lovely wee spot to visit for lunch and a good selection of food on offer.

Been in on my own, family, bigger party and other occasions. Always eager to please. Will accommodate when they can and adjust meals accordingly. Have bought a few vouchers here for gifts also, never fails to please

Food was OK but more what I would expect from a cafe than a restaurant. Having said that it wasn't expensive but was more than I would expect to pay for a cafe. Staff were friendly. Nice old wooden tables
