East Chinese Restaurant in Armagh

rude staff overpriced food trying to charge sit in prices even though its only take out food not worth the money wont be back go to other Chinese's in the area much better bigger portions and cheaper.

Can honestly say I will never return here. Booked our table for 6.30pm. At 9.pm we were still waiting on the reminder of our food. Yes I appreciate they were busy with a Christmas party. But never in my life. Have I waited 2 and a half hours for my food. We waited 20 mins for some one to come to our table to take our order and that's only because I called the girl over. We complained about the length of time we had waited in total. They charged us the full bill. minus an orange juice and offered us an Irish coffee. We had no desserts or tea that was to come with our meal. But still payed for the entire meal. So 3 very unhappy customers.

Had a return visit for a meal at East Chinese restaurant on Saturday night last ( after the Georgian Market day in Armagh City.) Had a nice surprise to see that the restaurant has been refurbished and was very stylish and comfortable and lively. Great service. Food was excellent as always and good value. Definitely recommend.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Very good value for money

Food is very good... If you are in early it's 7.50 for 3 courses..... not massive but it is sit in so don't expect the good the same as take out lol. I would have given it 5 stars but I was charged £2.50 for a CAN of coke. That's a joke...

The takeaway is always better than sitting in. Very quick food coming out and tend to get the feeling that staff and Mansger want you to finish your food asap. Chicken curry etc for a takeaway though is top class.

We'll not be back to East anytime soon. Under cooked chicken/overly salted food, wrong orders home with you and an unapologetic restaruant manager. We were all looking forward to a change in ownership last year but even that fell through for them. Shame too coz they use to be a good spot. If your looking a takeaway theres plenty of better ones in town.

Fabulous food. Was really lovely, drinks service was excellent all night, very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Not sure if it is the restaurants fault or not but could hear music from pub downstairs all night which was annoying.
