Rice's Hotel in Armagh

Food was excellent and service was attentive . Made the whole experience very pleasant

This is a little late in coming but here is my story about Rice'w Hotel in Poinyzpass. I and my son John Quinn had been traveling in Ireland fo a few days. I wanted to show him the Ireland that I knew. We started of in Dublin and traveled East to points in Dingle, Killarney etc. I introduced him to Blarney Castle and the stone (wish I hadn't as he hasn't stopped talking since). We grabbed some Wexford Strawberries for our hostess in Scarva and headed out for the North. We never stopped along the way expecting to grab some dinner before we landed in Scarva. We stopped at Rice's for a good dinner before arriving at our destination, the kitchen had just closed, I explained that we had jst traveled straight through from Cork knowing that we would get a great dinner at Rice's. The barman said to us, just wait a minute and called the chef at home, he returned and cooked up one of the best dinners that we had on our trip. Thank you so much for the hospitality shown to 2 hungry Canadian travelers.

Service , food and price first class. Stick toffee pudding best I ever tasted.

Brilliant food at this restaurant we went to this place sat 6th November will definitely be back here. Staff are brilliant.well done to all the hard working staff there from the kitchen workers to bar staff an waitress an cleaners

Food was amazing. I had take away so it wasn't overly warm when I got home but that was down to distance.

We enjoyed a very fine lunch. My steak sandwich, ordered medium rare was absolutely perfectly done and was as good a steak as I had in manys a day. I have no hesitation in recommending Rice's.

Wonderfully warm-hearted friendly and efficient service in this spotlessly clean premises. Incidentally, the food was excellent too, with very reasonable prices. Will definitely revisit again soon.
