PG Chips in Cookstown

Ordered 2 single fish and 2 fish suppers. The fish was swimming in grease and 1 of the fish suppers only had a small handful of chips

All the PG Chips I've been to are excellent - lovely fish, well cooked and presented, and generous helpings. Best fish and chips I know of in the area...

Just after getting our evening tea out of here absolutely gorgeous food an the portion size was mega.. staff ever so friendly an helpful will be definitely back..

Last 5 orders. Always something wrong or did get the app order. Not once said sorry it seemed to care. Never ordering here again.

This is the second time I am disappointed with the food I wordered at PG Chips in Cookstown. The steak was dry, overcooked, salted and super spicy. The amount of steak pieces was ridiculously small, it looked like a kids meal. The box was mostly filled with chips and the woman forgot to add pepper in the meal. Nothing looked like it did in the website photo. I give 2 stars as I had ordered chicken nuggets for my daughter and they were okay.

For me not really the best chippy but having said that it is very busy. They always forget to put salt and vinegar on the food when you order. Just my personal choice portion size could be bigger.

The best chip shop in Cookstown! Friendly staff, delicious food and a clean kitchen. Easy to order over the phone and by app. Reasonably priced too.

Out of the 5-8 times I've had the joy of being a customer, yet each time, from whispering snide remarks, to being the only customer for nearly 30 mins only to being ignored, and having another customer walk in and get instantly called out to ask if they are ready to order. I politely waited then when I asked if I may order too, I heard the whispering of "hell no I ain't serving them".This is only one example of a small few of the rude incidents I've encountered.But the final insult comes after iordered via app arrived about 8 mins before the stated collection time.And you guessed it I was ignored more snide remarks, and handed my order 25 mins later and it hadn't even been kept under a heat lamp.Instead of going back and complaining it's cold, I think it's just better to not go there anymore

It's OK. I just wish chip shops in NI cooked there there chips properly. If they are pre cooked and then cooked again to order they just go soggy. Just cook them fully once and keep them warm.
