Table was dirty when we arrived. Slow to take order. But staff were very polite and friendly and table was cleaned. Food was lovely. Small fish and chips with peas £4.95. Special was steak with chips, peas, onion rings and sauce, £7.95. Steak was small but for the price very good value and everything was well cooked. Well worth a visit.

I have been going to malonys for a few years now but after this evening i will never be back. I ordered a chicken goujon meal and curry sauce which came too £8.80.I asked for a receipt which stated "7" goujons, so i decided to say nothing. I got home and opened my goujon meal to find a couple of lumps of chicken which would have broke your teeth. Tasted like they were cooked for a new years party last year and only heated up again now! Im glad there wasnt 7 goujons as i dont think i could have stomached them. They were Accompanied by what i can only descibe as soggy oily bits of potato. Front of house service is absolutely disgraceful and Cooks need there heads looked at if thats the standard of food they produce. Extremely disappointed.
