Flagstaff Lodge Bistro in Newry and Mourne

An excellent overnight stay. Wedding was superb, excellent service throughout, lovely friendly staff, food delicious and plenty of it. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent location. Would highly recommend Flagstaff Lodge.

Went for 2 day's to do some shopping, beautiful view from hotel. Really good evening meal and breakfast the following morning was great. Rooms were seriously good.

Simply wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Newry...if Flagstaff lodge isn't available we don't go... we've been lucky to stay here regularly over the last few years and it's honestly home from home... food and rooms are fabulous and the staff are quite frankly.... Premier League!!

Attended a family wedding. Room was very nice. Food was excellent. Most of the staff were great, apart from the man running the function room ( very ignorant).

I was passing by and decided to give it a try. The architecture is really impressive, everything nice and tidy. Existing customers was really friendly and we talked a lot. Staffs were also nice. The food? GORGEOUS, the shrimp starter with garlic bread is really good, the COD fish n chips also great and seasoned perfectly.

Nice premises, decent food, service was good too. Outdoor seating area is OK, could be better. Usually busy at the popular times. Irish coffees were nice but they were served in a large wine glass, not suitable.

As we were passing we chanced calling in at 6pm on a Friday evening without a resevation. It was completely booked out but the delightful manager said she could squeeze us in if we we're prepared to vacate the table by 7:30. The service was so efficient, we were able to oblige her and departed at 7:00 pm.The food was delicious, served quickly and was piping hot. The young waiter was charming, great personality. The decor very tasteful and comfortable and the entire premises spotlessly clean.In the very near future I will be making more frequent visits with larger groups as I know my friends certainky won't be disappointed.

The staff were brilliant, including the receptionist named the Mexican. Staff went over and above to make our stay brilliant as it was my husbands birthday there was a lovely cheese cake left in our room free of charge wishing him a happy birthday. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we are looking forward to our next trip there. Thanks for a brilliant stay. Food was fantastic and beer very reasonably priced.
